Addressing Adolescent Health in Kamuli District

This project seeks to reduce the high adolescent pregnancy rate (currently at 24%) in Kamuli District by promoting access to sexual and reproductive health education and support services that align with Christian values. The initiative focuses on establishing youth-friendly spaces within health facilities, providing age-appropriate sexual education, promoting menstrual hygiene management, and equipping young people with knowledge to make informed, responsible choices. Through community dialogues, capacity building for health workers and educators, and strong collaboration with families and faith leaders, the project aims to shift harmful social norms, support adolescent well-being, and empower girls to stay in school and thrive.
